Transfer PST Files to Windows Mail
You can transfer all your old .pst files from your outlook into the new email application on Windows Vista, Windows Mail. The process can be done by using the Windows Easy transfer application on Vista, you can access this by;
- Open your welcome center (type welcome in your start menu)
- Click transfer files and settings
- Click continue in the UAC
You will now find yourself in Windows Easy transfer, here you can transfer all your old emails, newsgroups, messages sent etc from your old Outlook accounts to your new Windows Mail accounts (it will not transfer your passwords).
Windows Easy transfer is very easy to use, you just follow the instructions and you will easily transfer all of your old .pst files to Windows Mail.
