Create a PST File in Outlook 2003
If you are trying to create a .pst file in Outlook 2003 you will notice that it is slightly different to the previous versions of Outlook. The new .pst files are now called Microsoft Office Personal Folders file format.
If you want to create a pst file in Outlook 2003 just do this;
- Open Outlook 2003
- Click file
- Click new then outlook data file
- Find the types of storage area
- Click Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)
- or Click Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst) to create a new Outlook .pst file that is compatible with earlier versions of Outlook
- Click ok
- Find the file name box and give your file a name and click ok
- You will now find your new .pst file in the All Mail Folders List
